Elevation ranges from 7300 feet at the valley floor, to 9400 feet at its highest peak.

BY AUTO

Route A: from north or south / Interstate 25

From Albuquerque, drive north on Interstate 25 just past Springer, NM to Highway 58; exit on Highway 58, drive west 25 miles to Cimarron, in Cimarron turn left on Highway 64, drive west for another 12 miles through the Cimarron Canyon, Cimarroncita ranch road entrance is on the south side of the highway, between mile posts 298 and 299.

From Colorado, drive south on Interstate 25 just past Raton, NM to Highway 64; Exit on Highway 64; drive west on Highway 64 through Cimarron; continue 12 miles miles west of Cimarron through the Cimarron Canyon to Cimarroncita. Cimarroncita ranch road entrance is on the south side of the highway, between mile posts 298 and 299.

Route B: from east or west / Highway 64

Traveling east on Highway 64, drive approximately 12 miles east of Eagle Nest into the Cimarron Canyon, just past Ute Park. Cimarroncita ranch road entrance is on the south side of the highway, between mile posts 298 and 299.

Traveling west on Highway 64, drive approximately 12 miles west of Cimarron. Cimarroncita ranch road entrance is on the south side of the highway, between mile posts 298 and 299.
